Why COVID 19 is called pandemic？
Pandemic Pandemic is an epidemic disease caused by microbial infection that spreads across the large region, continant or worldwide. Each disease that spread worldwide is not pandemic. Cancer is a disease spread across the worldwide. But we can not termed it as pandemic. Because, Cancer causes by genetic mutation during cell division, therefore results as abnormal cell division. To be pandemic disease should be infectious. Infection may caused by virus, bacteria, or protozoa whatever.
